POSITION SUMMARY

Monitors manufacturing processes of specific production line life cycle to ensure customer timelines are met or exceeded and standards are achieved. Analyzes and recommends solutions to improve production process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor manufacturing production line process, that may include from the concept and design stages to ultimate release to customer to ensure timelines and schedules are met or exceeded and standards are achieved.
  • Analyzes and recommends solutions to improve production processes and/or schedules.
  • Identifies and maintains production and/or cross-functional teams on timelines and schedules.
  • Maintains regular communication with product line customers including but not limited to on-time delivery issues or delays.
  • Identify potential risks, obstacles and/or issues that may impact product line outcomes and deliverables.
  • Monitor product progress and adjust plans, as necessary.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with cross-functional teams, provide progress, performance, and status update reports.
  • Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or management as requested or needed.
  • Monitor costs incurred from production processes to identify budget issues.
  • Monitor product milestones and deliverables.
  • May monitor performance of project team to provide performance feedback.
  • Create project documentation and ensure project documents are archived and maintained.
  • Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand, and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned, requested, or needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering preferred or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years project management or related experience, or equivalent of education and experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry with sheet metal fabrication or other metal forming processes preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including high mix/low volume environments.
  • Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workflow.
  • High level of organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of work environment and actively listen to feedback.
  • Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
