The Product Line Manager is a deep category expert responsible for developing and implementing the product line strategy (pricing, sku counts, forecasts, margins, lifecycle plans, etc) to drive growth and profitability. This individual will serve as the process and detail expert managing all product data, adhering to timelines, analyzing business opportunities, studying the competition, and developing plans to maximize opportunities in their given categories. Additionally, the Product Line Manager is responsible for ensuring all product data is accurate and up to date in the applicable systems / tools.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development of seasonal sku plans for given categories based on deep data insights and competitive research
  • Manage product lifecycle including release and retirement
  • Manage product timelines to ensure deliverables are met and information is communicated to applicable teams
  • Maintain system / tools to ensure product information is accurate and up to date
  • Present sku plans and in season category pulse to executive and cross functional teams
  • Support the GTM process and build presentations for given categories to be presented in these meetings
  • Support the coordination of special make-up (SMU) opportunities with cross-functional teams
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis
  • Work with international teams to build assortment, pricing, and GTM strategies.


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient in finding insights in data and bringing them to life with informed recommendations
  • Proficient in PLM System (Centric Preferred)
  • Ability to drive, influence and collaborate across numerous functional areas
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities
  • Strong creative thinking skillset
  • Strong organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Merchandising or Product Management
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a merchandising or product line management capacity
