Product Manager - Air & Waterproofing

The Product Manager has responsibility for implementing marketing and sales strategies for products manufactured at tesa Plant Sparta for the Air & Waterproofing business unit.

What you will do:

• Participate in the development, coordination, and implementation of the international marketing strategies for the new and existing products manufactured by and for Air & Waterproofing.
• Support the operational advancement of the product portfolios.
• Manage projects to support the launch of new products and optimize existing products.
• Participate in the costing and pricing of the product portfolio and in the development of new products from the stage of idea to launch.
• Execute market and competition studies to support the growth of the product assortment in building envelope products.
• Interface with sales and maintains the customer pricing files and manages the request for quoting process.
• Monitor the business development of the product application groups.
• Build knowledge about market trends, product design and manufacturing methods, and competition.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• Initial work experience (3 years+) in marketing, engineering, or manufacturing related to product or market management.
• Analytical and process-oriented thinking and systematic approach; high technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability work effectively in cross functional teams.
• Must be available for auto/air travel of approximately 10% of the time.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
• Excellent computer skills including entire Microsoft Suite, strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, ERP systems (such as SAP, SAPB1, Oracle).
