The TMS Product Manager is responsible for maintaining and communicating the vision of what should be built to the development team. The candidate will define and prioritize deliverables in the team's backlog through authorship of themes and epics, and through guiding the development team to an understanding of how we want to evolve the product. CNW's TMS is built by a third party and is highly customized for our specific needs. There are also adjacent applications and apps that are fully designed by CNW.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Summarize the organization's needs and goals in clear and concise themes and epics.
- Divide the overall project goals into prioritized deliverables for sequential and focused progress.
- Resolve ambiguous business priority conflicts.
- Maintain integrity and guide the evolution of themes and epics.
- Prioritize user stories for sequential and focused team progress, clarifying the definition of "done" for each user story.
- Adjust project priorities according to evolving business and project conditions.
- Include technical debt reduction in all priority considerations.
- Collect and respond to customer and stakeholder feedback, appropriately adjusting future scope, timing and priority of deliverables.
- Adjust scope, priority and timing of deliverables in collaboration with the development team, product line management and other stakeholders.
- Validate that working software is "done" according to the adopted definition of done.
- Ensure new code conforms to established coding standards, design specification and performance goals.
- Guide the team to a clear definition of deliverable business value for each sprint and quarter.
- Work closely with the product management team to maintain alignment of the team's deliverables with broader company strategic goals.
- Ensure transparency, alignment and understanding of team focus and direction among all stakeholders.
- Ensure the team and stakeholders maintain focus on quality over quantity.
- Prioritize defect investigation and correction according to business conditions.
- Promote transparency to the team regarding current business and product investments.
- Bring knowledge of TMS systems to the organization.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant area of study
- 3 or more years of experience in a related field or position
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues, analyze complex problems, and formulate alternative approaches
- Effective English written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations
- Ability to present business process flows and technical applications
- Comfortable working on multiple projects and task simultaneously, excellent attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Logistics operations and commonly used integration types and formats preferred
