Job Description:
The Product Manager is responsible for identifying customer needs and business objectives related to a specific project. They articulate the vision for the product, rally team members, and turn that vision into reality. The Product Manager takes full ownership of their product, lead the development of the strategy and initiatives for the product, analyzes the impact of the product in the market, and makes recommendations. This position works with business and technology stakeholders to support and execute the successful launch of a new or enhanced service. The Product Manager manages supervisors, specialists, and administrative staff.

This role is a Grade-level 30H and Mid-Manager level for UPS Capital.
Please note this is an onsite position out of our Sandy Springs, GA location. This is NOT a remote nor hybrid position and relocation is not available.

- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with external partners.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with customer needs, market trends, and industry changes.
- Review customer feedback, analytics, and conduct surveys or interviews to identify business opportunities.
Understanding Customer Experience:
- Gain a deep understanding of customer needs and experiences.
- Identify product gaps and generate new ideas to improve market share and drive growth.
Product Specifications and Requirements:
- Define product specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide product design, development, and launch.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Prioritize activities based on business impact.
Product Lifecycle Management:
- Oversee all aspects of the product's life cycle, from concept to launch.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure product readiness and manage technical dependencies.
- Monitor performance and gather feedback from users
Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering teams for efficient delivery.
- Drive product launches and evaluate promotional plans.
Advocacy:
- Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and understanding.
- Gather feedback from customers to improve products and services.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience in product management.
- Ability to manage all aspects of a product lifecycle.
- Solid technical background with understanding on API technologies and familiarity of software development methodologies (Agile)
- Strong problem-solving skills and cross-functional teamwork abilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
