You will drive a team charged with the complete "end-to-end product lifecycle" and coordinate with all organizational departments to ensure commercial success.

So, what's the role all about?

You will drive a team charged with the complete "end-to-end product lifecycle" and coordinate with all organizational departments to ensure commercial success.

- Market Understanding - Buyer/User personas, needs of existing client base, competitive landscape
- Product Vision & Strategy - Draft compelling vision to maintain/extend leadership, convince/defend vision, a truly client-first mindset
- Prioritization & Roadmap management - Break initiatives down into capabilities, prioritize based on business impact, define clear roadmap, manage product backlog
- Communication & Collaboration - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams such as engineering, architecture, marketing, and sales
- Data-driven Decision Making - Leverage data from various sources to inform product decisions (market research, client/user feedback, historical pipeline/booking)
- Product pricing strategy - value based
- Cloud Architecture & Services - cloud concepts like scalability, elasticity, serverless computing and familiarity with AWS
- Security & Compliance - Awareness of security considerations specific to cloud, understanding of SOC II, PCI, PII Security, etc.
- Data Privacy - Basic understanding of global onshore/offshore rules for sensitive financial data
- CI/CD & DevOps - Understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
Have you got what it takes?
- 5+ years of software product management experience
- Proven experience in delivering innovation with SaaS products
- Experience of working in a fast paced global environment - multiple geographical locations, interacting with a wide range of cultures
- Ability to work successfully with clients and business partners directly
- Excellent problem-solving ability in high pressure situations
- Excellent negotiation skills to resolve internal and external competing priorities
- Superior written and oral communication skills, coupled with technical acumen
- Strong attention to detail and ability to drive teams to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience of leading successful go-to-market campaigns, including product packaging and pricing analysis
- A working knowledge of AML regulation and market trends
- BS or BA degree, or higher
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience in working directly with Actimize technology
- Experience working with FinCEN or FINTRAC related solutions
- Direct experience in working in AML compliance teams within a Financial Institution
