Job Description

As a Product Analyst at Publicis Sapient, you will collaborate with clients undertaking major digital business or engineering transformation engagements. You will work with a cross-functional team to understand the clients' business and customer needs and identify product features at the intersection of business and customer value. Acting as the bridge between data engineering, platform teams, and consuming applications-you will translate business needs into scalable APIs, data models, ETL processes, and integration services with a focus on data privacy and performance. You'll be responsible for building a portfolio of high-quality, secure, and reusable APIs that enable data interoperability, self-service, and speed-to-market.

Responsibilities

  • Use a hypothesis-led approach to understand and frame a client's market opportunity

  • Own the backlog and delivery roadmap for data and API products across multiple domains (e.g., customer, product, transaction, loyalty)

  • Define and maintain API contracts, SLAs, and versioning strategies that support internal and external integrations

  • Define and maintain data mapping and ETL rules for internal and external integrations

  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of experience, data, strategy, external data vendors, legal, and engineering team members to ensure product iterations are executed within stakeholder constraints based on objective data and acceptance criteria

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on technical feasibility, reusability, value to consumers, legal and architectural alignment

  • Ensure delivery of secure, performant, and well-documented APIs, working closely with engineering on architecture, testing, and monitoring

  • Advocate for data quality, governance, lineage, and access control best practices within data product design

  • Support platform enablement by contributing to data cataloging, developer documentation, and API marketplaces

  • Work with analytics and data science teams to ensure availability of clean, governed data products for insights and ML use cases

  • Stay current on evolving data stack trends (e.g., GraphQL, gRPC, event-driven APIs, API gateways, data mesh) and guide platform decisions accordingly

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a product owner, product analyst, or technical business analyst role focused on data platforms or APIs

  • Strong SQL skills

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger specs, and modern API management practices

  • Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and cloud-native data architecture (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AWS/GCP).

  • Familiarity with API security, authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT), and RBAC frameworks

  • Experience with GraphQL, event-driven architectures (Kafka), or data product thinking in a data mesh environment.

  • Communication and presentation experience

  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

  • Earning trust and influencing stakeholders without formal authority

  • Collaboration tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Visio

  • Passion for creating user-centric experiences
