WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage the scope of work and product success of a next-generation security platform
- Craft clear and complete product features that can set the foundation for planned Engineering work and be tested objectively by a QA team
- Create design mock ups for engineering team to accurates create features for
- Set foundation for an experimentation system to compare product success between releases
- Define, measure, and meet Product KPI's through new features and products
- Talk with customers and internal operators to gather feedback on product utilization
- Prioritize and escalate critical software engineering and operational tasks, executive project work plans, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Work with senior leadership and other product management leads to assess and define technology roadmaps with key deliverables and milestone dates
- Support engineering and design teams in achieving resolution of any gridlock, rather than merely report status. Must have the leadership ability and intelligence to drive "hands on" execution of highly motivated and intelligent team under intense time constraints
- Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to ensure that program deliverables and milestones are defined, scheduled, and executed on time
Identify New Product Opportunities
- Craft clear and complete user stories that can set the foundation for planned Engineering work
- Ability to deep dive into technical issues and capable of having productive conversations with engineers and designers
- A good understanding in both front and back-end technologies
- Laser focus on improving adoption of all of our user types
Drive Product Success through Research
- Define analytical success requirements for new features and products
- Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from intimate conversations with customers and internal operators
- Set foundation for an experimentation system to compare product success between releases
- 2+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams as a Product Manager in startups
- 1+ years of product design experience using a UX design software
- PMP and/or CSM (1+ years preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams to create feature requirements, scope, priorities, and defining milestones for deliverables
- Knowledge of hardware and software development process and lifecycle
- Have worked with product experimentation systems
- Use of Jira and Gitlab project management tools (workflows and reports)
- Excellent technical, problem-solving, and written/oral communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Figma experience
ADDITIONAL INFO:
- Base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $135,000 USD per year
- Eligible to participate in HiveWatch Equity Incentive Plan
