We are seeking a Product Manager who will support the development of our firm as a key contributor within our expanding Product Area. This is a cross functional role that will work closely with the Investment, Marketing and Sales teams to enhance our fund positioning and go to market planning. The successful candidate will be a results-oriented and collaborative professional who will develop industry leading go to market strategies in alignment with the firm's brand attributes, overall marketing strategy and business goals. This role will play a key part in raising awareness and supporting strong relationships with fundamental, long-term investors.

We are sharing that the estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year. In determining final salary, Pender considers many factors including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, job responsibilities, market conditions, position location and internal equity. Our aim is to ensure fair compensation practices that align with industry standards while acknowledging the unique value and expertise each individual brings to the role. The final base salary for the offer will be presented as part of a competitive compensation package.

Work in partnership with Sales, Marketing and Investments in a cross functional capacity to contribute to Pender's Growth. This includes:
- Sales team support:
- Work as part of a team to develop market and competitive positioning, and fund messaging to clearly articulate product differentiation and value proposition to current and prospective clients.
- Support inbound product inquiries and portfolio construction requests.
- Work closely with the Institutional Client Service team to produce best-in-class client materials.
- Marketing support:
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop and deliver client responsive content marketing and sales collateral.
- Translate key messages into compelling presentations, positioning statements and fund updates.
- Writing and/or contributing to investment thought leadership content - white papers, blog posts, etc.
- Investment team support:
- Work with the Investment team leads to understand investment strategies, fund performance and key differentiators and translate the content into impactful messages and insights.
- Ad hoc portfolio management support around competitive intelligence, relative positioning.
- Support PM presentation and commentary process.
- Product strategy and development support:
- Contribute significantly to the design and execution of plans to grow and/or launch funds through helping gather and share client insights, researching market opportunities, competitive analysis, industry flows and trends.
- Support fund enhancements, line up reviews, reviewing pricing & fund features.
- Support regulatory document renewal cycles.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in roles related to developing investor communications, fund development and/or go to market strategies. Experience across public and private mandates is an asset
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Completion of CFA program is an asset.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Experience producing high quality presentation materials and investment thought leadership content.
- Strong team player: excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with team members and stakeholders across Pender.
- Ability to manage different priorities simultaneously and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and the drive to build and develop a business in an entrepreneurial, performance-oriented culture.
