Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Product Manager with travel industry experience to lead the development and delivery of our software products. The Software Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from conception to launch, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products that meet customer needs and business goals, including the following responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
- Gather and analyze market and customer feedback to inform product development and identify opportunities for growth in the travel industry.
- Define product requirements and prioritize features based on user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and QA, to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Act as the product evangelist, building relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners in the travel industry to promote products and gather feedback.
- Conduct competitive research and analysis to inform product positioning and pricing strategies in the travel industry.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including product messaging, positioning, and launch activities in the travel industry.
- Track and report on product performance, using data to inform decisions and optimize product development.
- Assist and direct the creation of actionable story cards based on product priorities and the product roadmap.
- Information Security
- Participate in annual information security training.
- Adhere to all elements of the Groupize Information Security Program specifically product responsibilities outlined in the Software Development policy
- Proactively monitor and report information security incidents to their direct manager or to the VP of Engineering.

Qualifications Functional:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on software products in the travel industry.
- Proven track record of delivering successful software products that meet customer needs and business objectives in the travel industry.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, user experience design, and product lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies is a plus.
