The opportunity:
As a Product Manager responsible for Snowplow's data quality and governance products, you will lead the strategy and execution for tracking design, data quality, and governance tooling. You will work at the intersection of business needs and technical solutions, translating customer requirements into product features that empower organizations to maximize the value of their behavioral data. Your role will be critical in ensuring Snowplow's data infrastructure meets the evolving needs of our diverse customer base across industries.
What you'll be doing:
Own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for Snowplow's data quality and governance products encompassing our tracking design, data quality, and governance tooling
Work closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Support and Professional Services to understand customer pain points and translate them into product requirements
Meet with customers to present our product, gather feedback and conduct user research
Define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive offerings, and opportunities for product differentiation
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive interfaces that simplify complex data workflows
Drive the development of tools that ensure data integrity, compliance, and governance throughout the data lifecycle
Analyze product metrics and user feedback to measure success and inform future product decisions
Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop positioning, messaging, and enablement materials
Represent the voice of the customer in cross-functional product discussions
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
3+ years of technical or customer-facing experience in data infrastructure, analytics platforms, or SaaS products
Strong technical understanding of data platforms, data modeling, and event tracking systems
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and data governance concepts
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a common vision
Data-driven approach to decision making, with experience using metrics to guide product development
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business audiences
Bonus Points For:
Experience with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Google Analytics, Mixpanel) or data quality solutions
Background in data engineering, data science, or analytics
Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data collection strategies
Experience working with AI/ML applications and understanding how data quality affects model performance
