Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will support the sales organization in driving sales of drive products in the US market by ensuring implementation of global product marketing strategies to meet business objectives. The individual will build key relationships with sales, service, marketing, channel partners, and customers to understand the customer and channel needs in strategic markets within Motion Business Area. This role will work across functions and engage sales and customers directly to determine the course of where to play & how to win and champions successful execution of the U.S. drive products HVACR drives portfolio go-to-market strategy. The work model for the role is: Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: Own the local go-to-market product marketing strategy HVACR products including value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy. Support the sales in the local market by providing product and technical support to sales teams including trainings, sub-segment growth and key customer pursuits. Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach with expert level knowledge of products and competitors offerings. Understands customer needs in the local market by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. Prepares business plans focused on business development for the HVACR market and implement Division market pricing policy. Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor degree (Business, Communications, Engineering, or Marketing preferred) PLUS minimum 8 years of related experience in a complex business environment OR an Associate degree (Business, Communications, Engineering or Marketing preferred) PLUS minimum 10 years of related experience OR High School diploma/GED PLUS minimum 12 years of related experience.
- Experience with product sales or customer relationship management highly preferred.
- Experience in the HVACR and (or) Variable Frequency Drive technology with solid understanding of channel and segmented sales model highly preferred.
- This role will be based out or the Greater Milwaukee, WI area.
- Travel up to 25-30% required.
- Candidates must have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USA
