The Opportunity

We're looking for a Product Marketing Director to join our team. As a trusted advisor and strategic leader, you'll drive market positioning and go-to-market strategies across our portfolio, interpret market trends, and represent Planview's vision to strengthen our position as the global leader in connected work solutions. You'll create competitive advantages through your expertise while influencing the future direction of our products and company. #LI-REMOTE

What You'll Do

  • Interpret market trends across our portfolio, leveraging expert knowledge to partner with product management on cross-market/platform strategy
  • Build influential relationships with industry analysts and represent Planview as a thought leader at external conferences and industry forums
  • Create GTM strategies for strategic, cross-platform, or M&A-level launches while advising on pricing strategy
  • Solve complex, strategic problems with senior leaders, making decisions that impact significant aspects of the business
  • Develop compelling messaging, conceptual visual frameworks, and thought leadership content that simplifies complex ideas for executive audiences
  • Lead strategic enablement initiatives and provide expertise at executive-level customer workshops
  • Mentor junior team members on product marketing best practices while creating strategic objectives with senior leadership
  • Work autonomously, directing activities of others while maintaining accountability for results that impact the entire function
  • Demonstrate exceptional ability to context-switch between strategic initiatives, adapting quickly to changing priorities without losing momentum

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in B2B product marketing with a proven track record in enterprise software, particularly in work management or portfolio management
  • Experience working with complex product portfolios, with preference for those created through acquisitions and requiring unified positioning and messaging
  • Strategic mindset with ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and create conceptual visualizations that communicate complex ideas
  • Strong personal brand with broad relationships, recognized as a thought leader and trusted advisor sought for coaching and consultation
  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate confidently and credibly with C-suite and senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with product management and sales leadership
  • Passion for mentoring junior team members with a track record of elevating others' capabilities
  • Experience leading complex cross-portfolio initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
