JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Cambro Product Marketing Manager manages, develops, and implements marketing activities. The Product Marketing Manage will be the worldwide product and/or product line champion or expert, and will fully support product development globally. Analyzes brand performance, brand competitiveness, and product trends within the market and develops strategies within the market. Responsible for developing and executing the global marketing strategy for assigned product categories and market segments.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Work collaboratively with Global Sales and New Product Development Departments to identify specific market needs, product solutions and sales opportunities for new products and/or existing product improvements, enhancements and line extentions.
  • Work closely with Sales and NPD/Engineering to create initial new product idea sheet and update with changes/revisions throughout the NPD process, including performance characteristics, sales forecast, QC criteria and target market price.
  • Specific NPD project responsibilities will include developing product codes/descriptions/colors, working closely with cost accounting through costing process, helping engineer spec cartons specific to product, supporting after manufacturing enhancements such as personalization and/or signage, replacement part management.
  • Develop Sales Plan/Product Postitioning Document (PPD) and related positioning strategies to support new product sales launches, existing product re-launches, campaigns and trade shows; concept, write and coordinate marketing launch communications and sample kits; develop training materials, product manuals and cut sheets.
  • Develop and implement marketing activities for all products that fall within assigned categories throughout product lifecycle, from inception to maturity; develop marketing campaigns, training materials and sales collateral to support assigned product categories.
  • Work collaboratively with Digital Marketing team on marketing campaigns and new product launches, to ensure timely and consistent messaging on blogs, videos, testimonials and social media platforms.
  • Complete detailed market research and sales analysis to identify specific market demands, customer needs and product feature requirements to help present new product ideas for NPD review/approval and/or make improvements for re-launching existing products.
  • Point person for segment related trade associations and responsible for all marketing communication strategies and trainings for industry events; attend trade shows; participate in segment and industry groups; keep current on industry and market segment trends.
  • Develop and conduct product training via in person, virtual trainings, webinars and on line training modules for new product launches as well as existing product categories.
  • Must be willing to seek product improvements that benefit customers and/or Cambro. Must be willing to manage changes and/or improvements (initiate change or work with in house departments as needed) through the Engineering Change Process. Will complete/submit Engineering Change Requests as needed, assist with supporting sales documentation/information (such as weights, cubes, etc.) and attend weekly meeting.
  • Monitor and analyze new and existing product business ongoing to ensure sales opportunities are well supported, market share is maximized and sales goals are being achieved and will make recommendations as needed.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with members of other departments and on cross functional teams.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIIES
  • Possess a full understanding of all Cambro products, including proper usage and application.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.


JOB SUMMARY FOR PERFORMANCE REVIEW-key job skills, duties, and responsabilities

Manage all aspects of new product development projects, including market research, identification of product specs, initial forecasting and design features. Develop Sales Plan/Product Positioning Document and related strategies to support new product sales launches, existing product relaunches, campaigns and trade shows. Develop and implement global marketing strategy, messaging and communication plan for assigned product categories, market segments and new product launches. Develop and manage projects on time and on budget.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education and/or experience BA or BS with emphasis in Marketing or Communications strongly preferred. 8-10 years related experience required.
  • Language skills strong written and verbal communication skills required. Skilled in technical writing.

  • Communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills required. Strong presentation skills required.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
  • Other: Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams). Ability to handle heavy workload and changing priorities. Must possess the ability to accept constructive feedback.
  • Education and/or experience CRM experience preferred. AS400 experience preferred. PowerBI knowledge and experience preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$90,000 - $120,000

Salary may vary based on experience.
