Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and user-focused Product Owner to join our team at Fanbase. This role will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering product features that enhance the creator experience and drive platform growth. As the key bridge between Product Development team and stakeholders, you will work closely with Engineering, UX/UI, Product Marketing, and Growth teams to ensure that our product vision is aligned with business goals and user needs.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media platforms, digital monetization, and creator-driven ecosystems. They are passionate about leveraging data-driven insights to build features that resonate with creators, artists, influencers, and solopreneurs.

Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a tech or digital platform environment.
Strong understanding of social media, creator economy, and digital monetization models.
Experience working in agile development environments, with expertise in Scrum methodologies.
Proven ability to manage backlogs, roadmaps, and product prioritization in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with Product Prioritization models such as RICE, MOSCOW, and KANO.
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Notion, or other product management tools.
Bonus Points

Experience in user research and A/B testing to optimize product features.
Background in UI/UX design principles and collaboration with design teams.
Technical knowledge or experience working closely with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with Fanbase's mission and growth strategy.
- Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap based on user feedback, market research, and business objectives.
- Identify key opportunities to enhance user experience, monetization, and engagement.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish KPIs and success metrics for new features and product improvements.
Feature Development & Execution
- Work closely with product marketing, engineering, UX/UI, and QA teams to ensure features are built according to specifications, on time, and within scope.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts (BA) and help write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product requirements.
- Conduct user research and analyze data to validate hypotheses and prioritize enhancements.
- Ensure smooth product launches, partnering with product marketing and growth teams to create awareness and adoption strategies.
User & Market Insights
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform product decisions.
- Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative feedback from users to iterate and improve features.
- Advocate for creators and users, ensuring that product development aligns with their needs and expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring alignment on product goals.
- Work closely with growth and community teams to enhance user onboarding and engagement.
- Partner with product marketing and support teams to develop feature rollout strategies and documentation.
