Responsibilities

- Support and coordinate with branches, regions and executive sponsors to develop and execute growth for valve sales specifically to E&P/Pipe Line customers. Target valve sales growth at EPC and fabrication accounts. Growth plans will include sales and gross margin enhancements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential midstream and upstream valve customers including AML support. Project sales support at EPC and fabrication targets. Promote MRC valve and automation capabilities through branch support including OSR and TOSR representatives. Conduct valve and automation capability presentations and training at end user level, MRC branch level and MRC executive sponsor level. Create and maintain customer awareness of MRC valve and automation capabilities.
- Connect core manufacturer products and services to MRC field and end user needs. Support and promote MRC's core valve and automation product offering to end users and throughout the MRC organization.
- Represent MRC in attending applicable upstream/midstream market meetings and conferences.
- Coordinate with MRC SCM for restocking levels, product rationalization, and new inventory items. Identify and communicate valve market demand trends through communication with end users and MRC field representatives/locations. Responsible for the Midwest/Rockies and Western U.S. - Travel Required Carry out other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job;

Qualifications
Any combination of requirements which provide knowledge & abilities necessary to perform Essential Duties & Responsibilities will be considered
- B.S. Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. 5 to 10+ years' experience in PVF sales in upstream and midstream markets, valve and/or valve automation expertise preferred.
- A technical aptitude for valves and automation required.
- An understanding of valve markets specifically upstream, midstream, EPC and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong PC skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, and familiarity with Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Demonstrated ability to understand and accurately calculate applications such as resale prices, units of measure conversions, and percentage of change and profit margins and markups;
- Ability to learn MRC business processes and MRC specific software;
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to meet the MRC vehicle policy.

- Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and to respond to inquiries;
- Ability to understand and comply with MRC guidelines and expectations, to include Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.
