Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered

At AT&T, we're connecting customers to greater possibility with the latest mobility and internet products. We have an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise to a team that's driving transformation with next-generation marketing technology solutions. This is a great opportunity to build a successful career at a Fortune 10 company where you'll have a direct impact on how AT&T reaches and engages consumers through digital marketing touchpoints and journeys.

As a Product Technology Manager, you'll play a critical role in the implementation, rollout, and adoption of our Customer Data Platform (CDP), enhancing audience targeting and enabling new acquisition touch points. At the same time, you'll provide guidance to make the CDP interoperable with a broader set of martech and adtech solutions (identity resolution, 3P data attributes, real-time signals, site tagging/personalization, DSPs, DCOs, and ESPs). This role requires a versatile change agent - one who gets the technology and can be hands-on when required, but is equally comfortable marshalling resources, pro-actively identifying project dependencies, holding vendors accountable, and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

This role reports into the Marketing & Growth Organization (MGO), but will be a key partner to ecommerce, digital, media, marketing, analytics, privacy, and developer teams, as well as outside agencies and vendors. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and innovation, a sense of ownership and pride in the creation of data-driven efficiencies, and a thorough understanding of digital marketing and customer lifecycle tactics.

This role is located in El Segundo, CA or Dallas, TX and will be full-time in office, 5 days a week.

Core Responsibilities & Contributions:
  • Leverage expertise in omnichannel customer journeys to provide recommendations for new audience builds and behavioral-based campaign triggers across paid, owned, and direct marketing channels
  • Build, communicate, and manage an ongoing roadmap that includes system integrations, cross-platform journey management, and segmentation workflows (whether stream, batch, or edge)
  • Perform audience persona analysis and size opportunities against a range of data sources and channels - ensuring both high reach and high engagement against priority segments
  • Pilot and test new solutions - get buy-in for new capabilities, validate the value, and develop ways to automate and scale
  • Have subject matter expertise on end-to-end processes that represent thousands of audience deliveries a year to 60+ ad account and marketing platform destinations
  • Run meetings between marketing stakeholders and developer/configuration teams to translate requirements and proactively identify/solve dependencies so releases stay on track and the business continues to move at a rapid pace
  • Provide guidance on audience naming conventions and targeting taxonomies to help unify downstream trafficking processes, data analytic layers, and performance measurement readouts

Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of combined experience with marketing technology and/or campaign targeting operations
  • Expertise with audience-based marketing acquisition tactics, including familiarity with meeting privacy standards and applying consent requirements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills - must be comfortable leading despite ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding and hands-on knowledge of ETL, SQL, data modeling, and data warehouse techniques - Snowflake preferred
  • Experience with Adobe RT CDP is a must - ideally would have experience with additional Adobe platforms (AEP, Launch, Target, Workfront)
  • Experience with data and marketing solutions from Neustar or TransUnion a huge plus
  • Bachelor's degree required - advanced degree a plus
