JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:
Primarily responsible for the management, oversight, and coordination of multiple plant operations across all shifts. This includes the safety of all team members, lean initiatives, manufacture of products, coordination of maintenance to ensure general smooth operations, and improve the facility performance in Safety, COQ, On Time Delivery, Margin and Productivity while promoting people development and Redline's cultural behaviors.

Education: College degree preferred
Experience and/or Training: Prior rotational molding experience preferred; 3-5 years Production Manager experience
Licenses/Certificates: Lean certification preferred
Technology/Computer Equipment: Ability to utilize computer platforms to access work instructions and other necessary production information.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
The main working environment for this position is the standard manufacturing plant environment.
The plant environment is non-climate controlled and will include exposure to heat and hot surfaces, cold, noise and odors. Personal protective equipment is required in appropriate areas. There may also be intermittent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts and tool vibration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee, direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
- Build team relationships aligned with Redline's cultural behaviors
- Collaborate in hiring process and ensure proper procedures are followed in training employees.
- Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Handle corrective action and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Plans and establishes work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and associated costs.
- Collect, evaluate, analyze and assess production data.
- Regularly inspect and evaluate products and processes to achieve expected quality and best of yield.
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Determine standards, production and rates based on company policy, equipment and labor availability, and workload.
- Collaborate with other managers to coordinate operations and activities and/or to resolve issues within department or between departments.
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain production KPIs with root cause analyze utilizing team members for continuous improvement
- Responsible for all production areas and shifts, ensuring company resources are utilized effectively to meet production targets.
- Develops and implements production tracking and quality systems, analyzing production, quality, maintenance, and other operational reports to detect and resolve production problems.
