Job Duties:
Production planning and scheduling: Monitoring production schedules with ACSI to meet delivery deadlines and report to VP of Modular, assisting with the optimization of production flow, and adjusting schedules based on production.
Inventory management: Monitoring plant inventory levels, placing orders for administrative and routine supplies, coordinating buyout orders through corporate for receiving and tracking, ensuring proper storage and handling to avoid stockouts or excess inventory.
Quality control: Assist in monitoring quality standards throughout the production process, identifying and addressing quality issues, and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures through the onsite Quality Assurance Inspector.
Safety compliance: Enforcing safety regulations within the plant, conducting safety training sessions, investigating incidents, and promoting a culture of safety for all staff and visitors.
Data analysis and reporting: Collecting and analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement, generating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and communicate insights to management.
Cost control: Monitoring expenses related to materials, labor, and utilities.
Staff management: Providing training and support, addressing performance issues, and ensuring efficient team collaboration.
Communication and collaboration: Liaison between various departments within the plant, including engineering, quality control, ACSI management, to ensure smooth operations and alignment of goals and schedules.

Required skills and qualifications:
Technical knowledge: Understanding of units and the manufacturing processes, shipping processes, and relevant industry standards.
Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and assist in the troubleshooting of production issues, implement solutions, and make timely decisions.
Analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis, interpreting reports, and using data to drive improvements.
Project management skills: Ability to monitor multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and assist in ensuring that deadlines are met.
Leadership skills: Effective communication, ability to motivate teams, and build strong working relationships. Represent during external entity visits and provide relevant information.
Computer proficiency: Familiarity and/or ability to quickly learn inventory management software, and data analysis tools.
Certifications: Able to obtain Certification in Planning and Inventory Management, and/or Supply Chain Procurement Certification within 12 months of hire.
