Requirements:

Previous experience in similar role with company in manufacturing industry

1. Production Planning and Scheduling

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency.

Coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales, and logistics) to ensure alignment with production schedules.

2. Quality Control

Establish and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

3. Process Optimization

Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.

4. Resource Management

Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, machinery, and materials, to ensure efficient production.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

5. Team Leadership

Supervise and support production staff, providing training and development opportunities.

Foster a safe and productive work environment by enforcing safety regulations and encouraging teamwork.

6. Budgeting and Cost Control

Prepare and manage production budgets, monitoring expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or productivity.

7. Compliance and Reporting

Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.

Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.

8. Problem-Solving

Address and resolve production-related issues promptly to avoid disruptions.

Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement corrective actions.
