Production Manager

Production Manager - Manufacturing Facility

We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility. You will monitor production to ensure that orders are filled on time and in full. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity across our teams and processes. What You'll Be Doing

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of supervisors, coordinators, and operators.
• Maintain a strong safety and quality culture on the production floor.
• Partner with HR on hiring and team development.
• Provide ongoing training for team members-including new hire and annual refreshers.
• Track and review daily production goals and KPIs.

Production & Process Oversight

• Monitor and adjust daily production schedules to ensure on-time, in-full order fulfillment.
• Troubleshoot production issues quickly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and repairs.
• Work closely with the quality team to identify and resolve issues.
• Use MRP tools to manage raw materials and inventory needs.

Planning & Communication

• Develop and execute the production plan to meet customer demand.
• Communicate material and production status to leadership.
• Analyze material/job status and help define recovery plans when needed.

What You Bring

Required:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related).
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing procedures.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

• 10+ years of leadership experience, including managing supervisors.
• 5+ years of cost management experience.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is a big plus!

Physical Requirements

• You'll spend time at a desk and on the shop floor.
• Initial training will be hands-on-learning the equipment, team routines, and production flow.
