You will be the Production Operations Associate for Preventative Maintenance (PM) & equipment support in Chelmsford. In this role you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, & executing PM and will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Production Operations Associate you will be responsible for supporting Production Operations, the equipment support team, and test engineering. The Production Operations Associate must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for on-time completion of Preventative Maintenance of Manufacturing and Test equipment.
Develop and maintain PM plans in SAP ensuring orders are released on time to support PM needs.
Provide recurring support to equipment technicians, engaging daily and frequently to ensure collaboration and alignment to priorities.
Collaborate with Planning and Global Supply Chain to ensure procurement and logistics meet production and test equipment needs.
Understand assembly and test techniques and materials used to produce microwave hybrids.
Review the sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of cable, harness and tooling.
Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency.
Investigate equipment failures and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Review engineering drawings and ensure procedures are in compliance with regulations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, engineering or relevant other discipline
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to work overtime if needed to support special projects
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Desired skills
Demonstrated skills in team building and leading without authority
Knowledge of fabrication, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, and/or Circuit Card manufacturing
Familiar with budgets and cost targets and various key operational metrics
Familiar with MRP/ERP/Manufacturing planning tools such as SAP, APRISO, etc.
Green Belt Certification
Experience with a matrix management organization
Experience with Production Planning, Proposals, Estimating
Familiar with capital, rate tooling and test equipment planning
6+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $77,700 - $136,965. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement
