You will be a Production Planning and Control Manager, leading the planning and control of all manufacturing, IRAD/CRAD, and capital builds at our Santa Barbara Focalplane site. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient planning, execution, and delivery of production plans, while managing inventory, manpower, and third-party materials support.

What You Will Be Doing:
As a Production Planning and Control Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Develop and execute production plans for manufacturing, IRAD/CRAD, and capital builds, ensuring alignment with program requirements and site goals
Manage inventory control and management for production and consumables, ensuring optimal levels and minimizing waste
Oversee manpower development and support for the PP&C department, including production planning, engineering planning, shipping/receiving, property management, and stores
Manage third-party materials support, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials
Collaborate with programs and finance to project and budget headcount for the department, including manpower and overhead for labor and materials management
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Missiles and Fire Control Enterprise PP&C, Orlando and Ocala Missiles and Fire Control programs, external customers, and internal development project managers
Support site continuous improvement activities, such as cross-functional personnel development, performance management teams, Lean Six Sigma events, and inclusion events
Report delivery performance to site leadership and production planning execution to customers on a regular basis, ensuring high visibility and transparency

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
Proficient with computer systems for MES and ERP (SAP) as well as general computer skills with MS Office suite
A minimum 10 years experience in a production planning role in an industrial environment
Warehouse/stockroom management experience
Shipping and Receiving operations experience including secure and hazardous materials shipping protocols
Previous team lead or supervision of a direct team
Demonstrated strong communication skills, written and oral with experience in data presentation
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $106,100 - $187,105. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $122,000 - $211,485. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
