As a Production Program Manager on the Ample team, you will help solve complex challenges involving electric vehicles, robotics and smart battery technology. The Ample team is small, passionate, highly capable and eager to have like-minded individuals join. If the technology doesn't exist, we're not afraid to envision a path to success and then build it, while always keeping in mind it must be designed for reliability, affordability and easy deployment.

As a Production Program Manager on the Ample team, you will help solve complex challenges involving electric vehicles, robotics and smart battery technology. The Ample team is small, passionate, highly capable and eager to have like-minded individuals join. If the technology doesn't exist, we're not afraid to envision a path to success and then build it, while always keeping in mind it must be designed for reliability, affordability and easy deployment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Manage ongoing and future builds, identifying risks, resolving build roadblocks / issues to achieve on-time delivery
- Collaborate with the supply chain team on creating a material plan - define MRDs and shipment schedules and provide support when needed with issue resolution and delays
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand upcoming R&D projects, testing schedule and upcoming release dates - coordinate resources and material to deliver to timeline goals
- Define priorities and set goals for manufacturing team, work with manufacturing manager and team leads to evolve the operation, improve efficiency and increase visibility and predictability of output
- Forecast future capacity and labor requirements
- Champion process creation and implementation, as needed, to scale a complex product
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 3-5+ years demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, hardware, supply chain or manufacturing operations role
- Proven analytical skills and high proficiency with data analysis and presentation
- Detail oriented and results driven personality that is motivated by solving complex problems
- College Degree (BS or BA), Business or STEM preferred
