Description:

HTI is seeking a Production Supervisor for a large manufacturing company located just south of Little Rock, Arkansas.

The company offers fantastic benefits and a generous bonus program, and relocation allowance is available for non-local candidates. Salary is dependent upon experience and education, and the range is $80,000 - $90,000 / year.

Requirements:
  • Must have 3-5+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry
  • Must have experience with plant production management and industrial safety management
  • Strong leadership, management and communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.), production tracking software, and data analysis tools
  • Experience in wood product manufacturing is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and blueprints
  • High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. (without visa sponsorship).

Job Duties:
  • Directly manage production operators (10-20), processes, and maintenance requirements.
  • Employee development, coaching and training; provide clear communication of expectations and performance standards.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability and continuous learning.
  • Ensure a safe work environment through daily safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA safety regulations; conduct safety investigations.
  • Lead shift turnover meetings.
  • Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventative maintenance.
  • Coordinate production scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and performance reports.
  • Manage and track production KPI's, including production output, preventative maintenance, quality, safety, reliability, and costs.
  • Compile and submit necessary reports.
  • Ensure environmental compliance and completion/documentation of inspections, monitor environmental control systems.
  • Ensure that all company policies and external regulations are communicated effectively and followed by team members.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and process improvement.
