En tant qu'administrateur systme, quelles seront mes responsabilits ?

Le rle principal de l'administrateur systme est de fournir un soutien et une administration de qualit l'infrastructure centrale et aux services de rseau. Cela comprend l'achat, l'installation, la configuration, l'exploitation et la maintenance du matriel, des logiciels et de l'infrastructure connexe (cloud computing, serveurs, ordinateurs, pare-feu, etc.) qui sont essentiels aux activits quotidiennes de Symbility Solutions. Veiller ce que les systmes et l'infrastructure respectent le systme de gestion de la scurit de l'information de Symbility (ISMS) et les certifications de scurit de Symbility (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27034, GDPR).

Maintenir une excellente communication avec l'quipe informatique, son directeur des oprations informatiques et une grande visibilit sur l'ensemble des tches et des projets.

• As the System Administrator, what will I be responsible for?

The primary role of the System Administrator is to provide outstanding support and administration of the core infrastructure and network services. This includes effectively procuring, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining the hardware, software and related infrastructure (cloud computing, servers, computers, firewalls, etc.) that is essential to Symbility Solutions' day-to-day operations. The company may require the employee to be on call in case of network failures or other IT-related emergencies.

This is an intermediate role within our IT Operations Department and the ideal candidate will have strong experience with designing, deployment and administration of virtualised server environments, including but not limited to VMware ESXi and MS Azure

Specifically, you will:

• Provide expertise in managing various company hardware and software infrastructure. This may include, but not limited to:
  • Both physical and cloud server infrastructures
  • Storage and backup infrastructures
  • Document repositories
  • Network appliances
• Manage your own projects and complete them within defined scope while providing regular progress reports to the IT team.
• Plan, coordinate and deploy the systems upgrades, updates, fixes and other maintenance or improvements
• Proactively monitor of overall system health, anticipating potential issues
• Develop and maintain systems-related procedures, processes and policies
• Ensure systems and infrastructure respect Symbility's information security management system (ISMS) and Symbility's security certifications (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27034, GDPR)
• Maintain excellent communication with IT team, its Director of IT Operations and great visibility on all tasks and projects
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Familiarit avec le cycle de vie des projets

Tout ce qui figure sur cette liste serait un atout :

• Exprience du systme de gestion de la scurit de l'information (ISMS)

What does Systems Administrator need to have?

Here's our list of must-haves:

• 2-5 years of experience with Cloud hosting technology
• In depth knowledge of: Microsoft Windows Server technology
• Great knowledge of: VMware ESXi 6.0 or more recent
• Great knowledge of : MS Azure Platforms
• Bilingual in English and French ( prefered)
• Collegial, Undergraduate degree, Bachelors (IT related field preferred)
• Demonstrating analytical skills needed to troubleshoot problems and issues that arise with systems administration.
• Familiar with projects life cycle

Anything on this list would be an asset:

• Experience with information security management system (ISMS)
