Position Description:The Professor, Honours Bachelor of BehaviourAnalysis program/School of Health and Wellness is responsible for providingacademic leadership and for developing an effective, learning-centeredenvironment for students through the design and delivery ofcurriculum withinthe School of Health and Wellness at GeorgeBrown. The professorwill teach courses to students in all years at the degree level, in the HonoursBachelor of Behaviour Analysis program in addition to other degrees, diplomasand certificate level courses when required.

Education/ Certification / Designation:
- A doctoral degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (preferred) or in any related social sciences (e.g. Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling) or a doctoral degree in Education is required.
- Member in good standing with the Behaviour Analysis Certification Board and The College of Psychologist and Behaviour Analyst of Ontario.
- BCBA, RBA (Ont) certification or BCBA-D, RBA (Ont.) level is required.
Experience:
- Five (5) full-time years of recent applied, relevant, clinical or organizational experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
- A history of scholarship and peer reviewed publications will be an asset.
- Prior post-secondary teaching training and experience in adult instructions techniques, and curriculum design experience will be preferred and will be applied in a variety of teaching and learning settings.
Knowledge / Skills Set:
- A thorough knowledge of current trends in behaviour-analyticpractice, with proven ability to teach the entry-level practitioner in the classroomand lab setting will be required. Academic leadership experience in apost-secondary program is an asset.
- Must have experience with advanced learning technologies, including online delivery.
- Involvement in innovation and professional development related to teaching, use of technology, and student success.
- Ability to convey conceptual and practical aspects of subjects to students respecting their diverse backgrounds, experience and learning needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and life-long learning.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold the College's priorities on diversity and equity.
