Scaled Composites is seeking a Program Business Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting the assigned PBM/Project Engineer in developing a program schedule as required.
- Supporting the PBM in setting up an Earned Value (EV) report for monthly reporting, populating the report, and explaining any variances.
- Tracking and reporting program cash flow forecasts to the PBM in support of the accounting department or program funding requirements.
- Supporting the PBM with monthly progress reports from program personnel; updating the program schedule and EV reports as required.
- Supporting the PBM with forecasting staffing / budget and placing material purchase orders.
- Understanding the full concept of a program to aid in gathering data, analyzing information, and formulating plans.
- Actively listening, interpreting, and retaining both written and verbal work instructions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly organized with the ability to maximize use of time, take reliable notes, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to make sound decisions based on available information.
- Strong fundamental math skills to include but not limited to: the ability to develop ratios between sets of data and understand their significance to a problem, the mechanics of earned value, and budgeting concepts.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project or ability to become proficient.
- Degree in Business Administration or Business Management is strongly desired.
Essential Functions:
- Requires mobility and the ability to bend and reach
- May infrequently require lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Manual dexterity and coordination are required; repetitive hand motion (e.g., to operate computer keyboard)
- Vision at close distances and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged periods (i.e., computer screen)
- Ability to remain sedentary or stationary for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to write for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in an office setting for prolonged periods of time
- May be asked to carry up to 20 lbs. up and down a flight of stairs on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc.
- Occasional reaching overhead and lifting up to 15 pounds
- Ability to converse and communicate information with others
- Occasional exposure to chemical vapors and/or fumes in low non-hazardous concentration
- Potential to climb up and down steps on a daily basis
- Must be able to read and understand SDS
