THE POSITION
The Freedom Together Foundation seeks nominations and applications for the position of Program Coordinator (PC) for the Program and Strategy Management (PSM) team. Joining the team at an exciting time of strategic development and team growth, the Program Coordinator (PC) will work collaboratively to impact all program areas.
Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Program Coordinator will be a project manager and executor for the PSM team, which is the central coordinating hub for all of the foundation's program areas. The PC will help to coordinate program team meetings and retreats, biweekly communications, and programmatic learning sessions. This person will need to stay abreast of emerging trends and synthesize information and learnings across all of the foundation's program areas. In all of this work, the PC will promote the mission, vision, and values of the foundation.
The ideal candidate brings exceptional organizational skills, ability to proactively develop project plans and execute towards them, and a wide range of strengths including strong written and verbal communications, relationship-forward approach, researching and synthesizing ability, and seamless logistics. They will bring at least 3 years of experience working in the social justice sector and a deep commitment to social justice and power building.
They will be curious and learning oriented, an excellent communicator, solutions and detail-oriented, and enjoy both independent work and close collaboration. The PC will build strong and collegial relationships with all Freedom Together employees, have sound judgement and integrity, and be adaptable and flexible and able to thrive in this exciting time of expansion for the foundation.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The starting salary range for this position is $125,000 - $140,000 annually. Freedom Together offers an extensive and generous benefits package including health insurance (with 100% of the premiums paid for employees, spouses, domestic partners, and qualified family members), paid time off (including last week of the year), 401(k) retirement plan with 12% employer contribution, and access to an inclusive family building reimbursement plan. Freedom Together provides up to $5,000 annually for professional development and the ability to recommend an annual grant to the nonprofit of your choice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: The PC will design and track progress towards project plans that support the foundation's strategy. They will have a keen understanding of how to break a complex project into its component parts and the skills necessary to execute towards the project plan. Examples of complex projects include putting together convenings, supporting grantees in a shared experiment, or designing tracking systems for programmatic goals.
- Grantmaking: The PC will work closely with the team on managing and tracking grants; reviewing progress reports and drafting progress report review summaries. They will develop relationships with select grantees.
- Research and Synthesis: The PC will conduct research to deepen FTF's knowledge on current issues in the field or potential grantees including ongoing field tracking and producing written materials for the program team. They may also attend briefings or meetings on behalf of program team members and be expected to summarize and report back key findings. They may be responsible for synthesizing key points or themes among programmatic documents from different program areas.
- Communications: The PC's work will include drafting written materials about the work of the program team; supporting staff involvement in conferences and speaking engagements; tracking interactions with grantee partners; drafting letters to organizations inquiring about FTF; supporting the team in responding to grantees' questions; and supporting grantees in FTF's grant process.
- Meetings: The PC will design impactful meetings to bring together the right people and move a shared project forward, including: agenda design, invitee list and prepping invitees, pulling together necessary prep work and documents, and following up with key action items and follow-up steps. They will support developing and executing meetings for the entire program staff to get aligned on priorities, share feedback and learnings, and move forward shared programmatic goals.

- Minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience working in the social justice sector. Experience in organizing, power building, advocacy or other systems change strategies.
- Implementer and excellent project manager who gets results.Organizes themselves and others. Skilled at completing projects and tasks.
- Generalist who can execute on a wide variety of tasks.
- Excellent and confident writer and editor. Excellent oral communication skills with the ability to summarize and present information to various audiences, including foundation leadership and grantees and partners.
- Helpful and willing to pitch in on anything.
- Enjoys working in both a collaborative environment and independently.
- Resourceful and finds a solution in any situation.
- Sound judgment and integrity.
- Curious and learning-oriented.
- The proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a changing environment.
- Comfortable with administrative tasks and working with small teams.
- Proficient with Google Suite and able to learn other programs to support the work.
