Your Job:
Physician shall fill the position of Program Director of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas ("Program"). In filling such position, Physician shall, under indirect and minimal supervision, direct, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of the Program at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas's (MHD) Methodist Medical Center. In cooperation with the Vice President of Medical Education at MHD, oversee the day-today academic, operational, human resources, and fiscal management of the Program in accordance with the policies and procedures of MHD.
Your Job Requirements:
Graduate of medical school and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Previous experience as faculty member in Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency.
Very strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products
Superior oral and written communication skills
Strong process orientation
Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving
Ability to provide vision and leadership
Ability to plan and schedule the work of others
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment

Develop, coordinate and oversee all operational and administrative functions of the Program.
Maintain the Program in a fully accredited status with the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
Responsible for selection, hiring, & evaluation of all faculties
Responsible for selection, hiring, evaluation and oversight of all residents in training, as well as the care provided by them in all clinical settings
Responsible for the supervision and quality of care provided by faculty and residents in all clinical settings
Create and maintain an academic environment in which residents and faculty actively participate.
Prepare written educational goals, learning objectives, and expectations for each rotation that Program residents rotate through at Methodist Medical Center, and all other relevant training venues
Review the academic curriculum at least annually and make changes as needed
Perform other duties customarily performed by physicians responsible for the clinical oversight of residents.
