Job Summary
We are seeking a Program Financial Planning Analyst (PFA) will play a key role in assisting with the planning, organizing and the successful execution of key revenue projects. You will provide meaningful forward-looking direction to the program managers, develop key scenarios, identify risks and uncertainties, and work with program management to develop potential mitigation plans. You will also assist in developing and maintaining management reports using Costpoint/COGNOS.

Essential Functions

- Project budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, reporting, establishing/managing program cost baselines
- Maintain project tracking spreadsheets to record actuals and forecast; maintain project Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC)
- Provide support to Project Managers in the preparation and analysis of project financial data and other contract, project, or business-related tasks
- Closely interface with Program Managers, Planning, Accounting, and co-workers on all cost issues
- Monitor program direct cost charging and General Ledger for any cost posting errors
- Ad-hoc cost and performance analysis

Experience and Skills
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Three-plus (3+) years of work-related experience performing financial analysis, data analysis, or similar role
- Must possess strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Understanding of accounting principles; U.S. GAAP
- Familiarity with Costpoint
- Experience in government contracting, specifically in DoD, and various contract types (T&M, CPFF, CR&D, FFP, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field
- MBA from an accredited institution, preferred
- CPA/CMA, preferred
