Program Manager I

MPMs play a key role in ensuring the continuity of supply for the production of Apple's products throughout the entire lifecycle. MPMs are the crucial interface between Supply Demand Managers (Planning), Global Supply Managers, New Product and Sustaining Operations teams, and Contract Manufacturers (CMs). Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating materials supply chain activities by working directly with the CMs to ensure material availability for production
• Working closely with New Product Ops and Sustaining Ops partners in managing material constraints
• Understanding overall materials availability, factory capacity, and their relationship to global supply and demand to drive daily production
• Managing materials throughout the entire product life cycle, from new product introduction through end of production
• Ensuring supply chain optimization by minimizing excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory
• Providing complex materials analysis to drive executive decisions on new product transitions
• Leading materials management set-up at new OEM sites and within the sub-tier supply chain for new products
