Helping our customers put stuff in space is our specialty, and we have a blast doing it. As part of our exciting growth and new customers, we now have an opening for a Program Manager II who is ready to inspire and unite a team to innovate and deliver extraordinary antenna solutions...and do it all within the customer's parameters.

In this role, you will spend your days advocating for the customer, while facilitating collaboration and course-correction internally. As the primary juggler of cost, schedule, and requirements, you'll influence every aspect of the program, from sales, through engineering, manufacturing, and test (which, by the way, is entirely on-site).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan, organize, and direct all major program phases - including sales support/proposal development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and strongly advocate for their needs within the organization.
  • Negotiate customer requirements to fit within company capabilities and objectives.
  • Generate and communicate detailed program plans, budgets, timelines, and resources to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Monitor program progress. Fast-track critical path activities to ensure on-time delivery. Control cost escalations to ensure profitable execution.
  • Manage scope changes and plan re-baselining.
  • Delegate to ensure full compliance for varying contractual requirements, including purchase orders, statements of work, technical specifications, procurement flow-downs, quality clauses, and commercial terms & conditions.
  • Clarify and manage ambiguous requirements and communications.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate solutions to balance customer needs with organizational priorities, resources, and capabilities.
  • Meet objectives through forecasting and communicating requirements based on information available.
  • Actively status all stakeholders on program progress, milestones, budgets, schedules, compliance, and other critical information.
  • Other duties as assigned.


ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Experience managing complex and multifaceted projects in either an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with identifying and mitigating technical program risks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic desire to build relationships, share knowledge, and positively impact.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree. Bachelor's Degree may be substituted by 3 years of commensurate experience in an aerospace engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role responsible for technical project management and/or subcontracts administration; within the aerospace sector highly desired.
  • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen per Custom Microwave, Inc.'s drug testing policy.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Custom Microwave, Inc.'s policy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to sit in a stationary position for more than 50% of day.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery; repetitive motions include, but are not limited to, keyboarding and data entry operations.
  • Must be able to intermittently ambulate for less than 30 minutes throughout the work shift.
  • May require occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and crouching to access work supplies.
  • This position involves extensive internal and external communication; ability to utilize a phone and convey accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email.
  • Must be able to see in artificial/fluorescent lighting.


Job Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position. This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "CMi is Proud to Offer." This position is considered exempt (paid on a salaried basis).

Pay range: $95,000.00-$125,000.00 based on qualifications and experience.
