The Office of Graduate Medical Education (GME) oversees and provides support to Tulane's residency and fellowship programs to ensure that each program's clinical environment facilitates residents' professional, ethical, and personal development. The Program Manager II will assist with the management of program budget and financial reporting/projections. Program Manager II supervises GME Specialist. The will support development and outreach activities. The Program Manager supports strategic planning efforts and is part of the GME Administrative Leadership team.

The Program Manager II supports the Designated Institutional Official, the Senior Director of Graduate Medical Education and other GME leadership to manage accreditation and administrative tasks and project activities for GME, which include but are not limited to: organizing and coordinating seminars, webinars, and events; budget and project management and prioritization, correspondence with potential and current external and internal partners, support for the Graduate Medical Education Committee (GMEC), assistance with social media and other methods of communications, coordination of meetings and schedules for the DIO, Assistant DIO(s), and Senior Director, and support for the Tulane Resident & Fellows Congress Executive Committee and the Congress as a whole, as needed. Supervises GME Specialist position.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to use various software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media platforms.)
Working knowledge of online collaboration tools, video conferencing, Internet and email required.
Ability to work collaboratively as a positive, contributing member of a team.
Must be able to meet established deadlines and take on new responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and competently manage a variety of activities with multiple deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to deal diplomatically with people from a variety of internal and external constituencies.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to multitask, follow-direction as needed but work independently, and ensure timely completion of work on complex assignments.
Excellent discretion, judgment, attention to detail, and initiative.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
3 years of experience in program management, financial management, or accreditation

OR
7 years' experience related to customer service, program management, office management, financial management, or accounting
Master's Degree in Business Administration, or a related field
Knowledge of Tulane University systems such as Kronos, Concur, HCM, etc.
Experience in graduate medical education administration.
Excellent organizational skills Ability to work with diverse constituencies.
Advanced Degree (MBA, MA, MS, PhD, etc)
