We have the immediate need for a Program Manager II to contribute to the mission of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). LANL is a multidisciplinary research institution dedicated to enhancing national security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health, and global security concerns.

What You Will Do

Assumes responsibility for day-to-day administrative/operational management of all activities and functions in a designated program area within a line or staff department, including contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of program policies, procedures and standards; determining program service levels and enhancements; assists with the development of and monitoring program budgets; providing technical advice and/or supervision of work to staff, other departments, and performs related work as required.

Minimum Job Requirements:
  • Position typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: minimum 5 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
  • US Citizen.
  • Ability to fulfill L&A Core Values.

  • Experience supporting difficult customers/building relationships
  • Prior DOE experience
