Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project/Program Manager to lead the technical implementation of transaction monitoring applications for a Financial Services-based project. This role will involve overseeing the delivery of the Actimize system, working cross-functionally with Product Managers, Business teams, and Engineering teams. A background in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) is highly beneficial for this position. The ideal candidate will bring strong program management skills, experience in leading third-party software implementations, and the ability to drive clarity, alignment, and collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management:
Lead the technical implementation of the Actimize transaction monitoring system, collaborating with Product Managers, Business, and Engineering teams.
Ensure the technical delivery of the system meets timelines, scope, and quality requirements.
Encourage cross-functional collaboration, foster synergy, and maintain alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Risk & Issue Management:
Identify, document, and manage issues, risks, and decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead the team to develop mitigations and escalate issues when necessary, ensuring timely resolutions.
Proactively communicate project risks and potential impacts to stakeholders.
Reporting & Communication:
Create and communicate status reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress and readiness for delivery/rollout.
Recommend and strategize plan adjustments, ensuring stakeholder alignment and timely execution of necessary changes.
Ensure clear, concise, and effective communication with stakeholders regarding project updates, milestones, and challenges.
Cross-Team Project Planning:
Create, maintain, and align cross-team and cross-company project plans, ensuring clarity and tracking of deliverables.
Lead the tracking of key program metrics (e.g., RAID - Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
Ensure that the project is progressing according to plan and any adjustments are made promptly.

Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- Extensive experience in leading third-party software implementations, ideally in financial services.
- Strong background in Program Management, particularly with transaction monitoring applications or similar financial systems.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
Skills:
- Strong senior-level communication skills, capable of providing visibility to stakeholders and managing program tracking (e.g., RAID).
- Expertise in creating and maintaining cross-team and cross-company project plans, ensuring alignment of deliverables and timelines.
- Ability to effectively document and communicate issues, risks, and decisions.
Preferred Qualifications (if any):
- Experience with Actimize or other financial services software solutions.
- Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and systems.
- Experience working in regulated financial environments and understanding of associated compliance requirements.
- Strong background in Agile project management methodologies.
