About the STAHR and H.O.T programs:
San Francisco Transgender Alliance Health Resources (STAHR) is a multi-agency collaboration focused on addressing the sexual health needs of trans women of color in San Francisco. This program is responsible for leading, co-creating, and managing a multi-service, comprehensive, and seamless HIV, STD, HCV trans health initiative and access to all trans health services.
Role Summary:
The Program Manager for Trans Services will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and oversight of the San Francisco Transgender Alliance for Health Resources (STAHR) as well as the H.O.T. Program.
The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of both programs, reach its benchmarks and deliverables, and evaluate its impact and results to the greater transgender community in San Francisco.

Role Summary:
The Program Manager for Trans Services will be responsible for the day-to-day management, coordination, and oversight of the San Francisco Transgender Alliance for Health Resources (STAHR) as well as the H.O.T. Program.
The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of both programs, reach its benchmarks and deliverables, and evaluate its impact and results to the greater transgender community in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead and supervise the program staff for the STAHR and HOT Programs, focusing on job performance, goal achievement, development and implementation of work plans, maintaining staff morale, and resolving program and staff-related issues.
- Program Coordination: Act as the primary contact for the day-to-day management and coordination of the STAHR and HOT Programs. Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient program execution.
- Collaborative Strategy Development: Work closely with the Associate Director of Trans Services to support, review, and implement contract goals, program objectives, budget plans, and strategies to enhance service delivery. ensure timely achievement of deliverables through effective project timelines, calendars, and schedules.
- Data Management and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely data collection, entry, and maintenance. Oversee the submission of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, and track client enrollment, activities, deliverables, and contractual documentation requirements.
- Staff Management: Hire, manage, and evaluate case managers and program specialists to ensure high-quality engagement and alignment with the program's mission and goals.
- Client Services: Provide and support high-quality case management and advocacy services for clients. Engage in follow-up conversations and result-oriented referrals to additional services as necessary.
- Crisis Management: Assist staff with crisis management and de-escalation as needed.
- Outreach and Communication: Develop and distribute outreach materials for programs and clinics, including pamphlets, brochures, advertisements, website information, and social media posts.
- Coordination with Partner Organizations: As the lead organization for STAHR, coordinate monthly meetings and consultations with partner organizations. Provide programmatic support, troubleshooting, and assistance as needed.
- Community Engagement: Actively represent the agency and develop partnerships with external trans services that align with the mission of the programs and clinic. Promote the organization's mission and services at community events.
- Professional Development: Attend and complete all required training programs and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities such as conference calls, webinars, and workshops.
- Internal Collaboration: Participate in required department, inter-departmental, and agency-wide meetings, trainings, and activities, including some evening and weekend hours.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4 Years of proven experience overseeing programs from development and implementation to evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience juggling multiple tasks and keeping projects on track.
- Demonstrated ability to manage program finances effectively.
- Proven experience motivating and guiding program team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with resources for TGNC folks available in San Francisco or California.
- Experience effectively recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers.
- Demonstrated comfort nurturing stakeholder relationships including with donors, funders, city staff.
- Must obtain TB clearance (within past 12 months) and complete background check upon acceptance of job offer.
- Current with vaccinations including Covid-19 vaccine and at least one booster, and most recent flu vaccine and able to provide proof of vaccine status.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish.
- Grant writing and evaluation skills.
- Experience working in an FQHC or other type of Community Health Center.
- Master's degree in health science or social work or related field.
- Experience in case management, providing counseling, advocacy and education.
- Certified and current HIV test counselor.
