Marathons TS is searching for a Program Manager to support a government client who will be responsible for:
- managing multiple programs/projects
- Provide high quality solutions to government customers.
- Full responsibility for customer satisfaction, program execution, profit & loss, employee satisfaction, and corporate processes governance.
- May lead and support business growth activities including proposal writing.
- Manage personnel and address issues in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the clients and primary stakeholders; develop trusting business relations and attain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Manage the day-to-day activities to meet program requirements, including high quality, on -time, within budget and with minimal issues
- Manage the program risks, issues and opportunities
- Hands-on personnel management, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, merit increases, etc.; communicate effectively with staff and provide growth opportunities
- Monitor and report project progress and plans to appropriate stakeholders
- Work closely with all support functions, including Contracts, Subcontracts, Finance, Accounting, HR, Recruiting
- Ensure team compliance with corporate processes, including timely and accurate completion of timesheets, expense reports, security and other corporate trainings
- Grow existing programs and support proposal development efforts
- 6+ years of project management experience for government programs
- Familiar with government contract types (FFP, T&M, CP)
- Strong organizational skills, able to stay on top of multiple moving parts
- Self-starter who is able to work independently without day-to-day supervision, and proactively seeks solutions to challenges
- Experience leading teams of 8 or more staff
- Able to apply critical thinking skills to advance program operations and growth
- Capture and proposal support experience
- Bachelor's degree
- PMI PMP certification
