Fisher Dynamics is currently seeking a Program Manager for our Corporate Program Management team located in Saint Clair Shores, MI. This position is responsible to is responsible to coordinate the efforts of the Engineering Team, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Production Support through new product development and product launch to meet customer expectation and Fisher Dynamics goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales, Accounting and Product Engineering in the development of new product cost, timing and program development.
  • Provide leadership to concurrent engineering timeline ensuring customer and Fisher Dynamics expectations are met.
  • Develop and track APQP deliverable timeline in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Document and track activities - identify and capture all associated costs - maintain a running log of all issues and status.
  • Communicate to SCS plant quality, FD engineering, and suppliers - lead corrective action process.
  • Coordinate and monitor technical matters, program costs, sufficient labor, timing and the like to ensure successful development and launch of assigned products.
  • Interface with Fisher Dynamics Management keeping them advised of project status and important issues.
  • Assist Fisher Dynamics support groups with program related issues, which require customer interface.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical preferred or equivalent work experience with Fisher Dynamics products and processes

Experience

Minimum seven years' experience

Skills

Engineering - understanding of product and processes.

Develop and track APQP deliverable timeline in accordance with customer expectations.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Manufacturing or program management experience (stamping, welding & assembly).

Communication skills - voice of Fisher to customers and suppliers.

Ability to work effectively with people and interact with technical staff.

Leadership skills with ability to motivate and maintain a team-oriented environment.

Good computer skills. Microsoft Project and Excel.

Overnight and/or out of the country travel is required.
