Responsibilities include:
- Interacting with customers and application engineers to define the project scope so that all aspects are covered at the initial stage of quotation to cover quality, costs, and delivery requirements to meet expectations.
- Coordinate with suppliers as needed to align with the overall timeline of project management.
- Coordinate with internal team members during the production, assembly, test, and mechanical integration cycle to eliminate delays in the project plan.
- Maintain schedule accuracy to the overall project and communicate with customers timely throughout the production process.
- Monitor key performance indicators and identify areas of improvement to streamline the process for continuous improvement.
- Monitor the quotation process and measure against key performance indicators.
- Address delays in the process to win business and generate additional market revenue.
- Coordination with internal team members for expedited projects and roadblocks with production constraints.
- Address complaints and quality issues with internal team on field failures.
- Coordinate technical resources to disposition product and identify root cause analysis for prevention.
- Review status with the customer and the management team
Timely resolution of issues and escalation as required to avoid delays in project completion - Ensure proper closure of customer related A/R issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- 5+ years of experience interfacing with customers.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.
- Extensive experience in the management of multi-discipline, technical programs, preferably in the semiconductor/semiconductor test industry plus thes ubcontract management of major suppliers.
- Should have a good understanding of PCB design and fabrication, mechanical design,
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Must be able to function independently and possess high level problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization, develop plans, and represent professionally to the customer.
- An ability to be productive and successful in an intense work environment with dynamically changing customer priorities.
- This is an on-site position in our San Jose, CA office.
