You will be a Program Production Operations Lead, supporting the RF Sensor Product Center. You will be among the leaders of the team responsible for driving speed, agility, and technical innovation in the development and production of complex systems, ensuring quality and mission success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Prod Ops Lead, you will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team and collaborating with stakeholders to drive affordability and producibility, resolve yield issues, and proactively manage risks and opportunities. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading a cross-functional team consisting of manufacturing engineering, production planning and control, design engineering, test engineering, procurement, configuration management, and quality and production centers
Presenting team performance in Program and Customer Reviews as required
Driving Affordability and Producibility, resolving yield issues/drivers, and proactively identifying and managing Risks and Opportunities
Developing workarounds and executing the build schedule
Overseeing and scheduling (including material, tooling, and test equipment availability)
Continuously interfacing across all programmatic functions, leading discussions with internal customers on schedule and technical performance

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree
-Must be able to obtain security clearance
-Related professional level career experience in Manufacturing or Production Operations
-A broad base of knowledge regarding electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence
-Experience with leading/managing/executing projects to cost/schedule/quality objectives
-Candidate must be willing and able to travel
Desired skills
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
At least 5 years experience within Manufacturing, Production Operations with an emphasis on RF systems
Experience with manufacturing tasks such as writing plans, evaluating suppliers, evaluating production flow, capacity analysis, forecasting staffing, etc.
Understand quality assurance tasks such as corrective action, parts handling, quality metrics, etc.
Knowledge of capital planning, rate tooling, and test equipment planning.
Scheduling and execution to plans/IMS tasks
Establishing priorities for production during development,

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
