As a Programmer Analyst, you'll contribute to a critical component of our success. While working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative, new solutions that meet their needs and help advance the way the world pays, banks and invests.
About the team:
This role is with our AffinityEdge Implementations team. This position will work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

This role is with our AffinityEdge Implementations team. This position will work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented
- Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry
- Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs
- Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation
- Researching client needs, analyzing trends and best practices and creating detailed program specifications
- Devising procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and solve complex technical problems.
- Assessing available technologies and recommending solutions.
What you will need:
- You have experience in COBOL programming language & Unisys.
- Experience working with different aspects of banking like deposits, loans, etc.
- You have excellent customer service skills
- You are very organized and detail-oriented; able to work with shifting priorities
- You love analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to better the client experience
- Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems as well as application development.
- Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML).
- An understanding of appropriate application programming languages.
- A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or the equivalent experience.
