Description:
BASIC PURPOSE: A new and key role responsible for project delivery with documentation of processes and to simplify and improve work practices by adopting the Kaizen philosophy of continuous improvement. Key driver of the 5 S principles Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize and Sustain and develop a good understanding of process across Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent and Oceania. Accomplishes project objectives by planning project activities, evaluating implementation and progress of project.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, or related field.
EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of project management experience. Proven success and track record in delivering operational projects, change management, process and methodologies. Experience of working within fast paced, multi-channel customer focused organizations. A strong track record of developing high level operational processes and measures that support business growth and operational excellence. Experienced in influencing and negotiating with third party suppliers and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Commercial and business understanding of key project drivers. Skilled Microsoft Projects, Visio, Word & Excel user. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, particularly adept at simplifying and articulating complex topics and employing a wide range of communication styles to engage with all levels of the organization. Excellent understanding of commercial and financial management, budget control and cost optimization.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage, support and coordinate implementation of sub projects to ensure removal of over processing and over production and defective work practices.
- Supporting Project Manager with implementation of projects across three brands.
- Plan, develop and implement strategy for process improvement, establish and implement appropriate systems for measuring success of changes introduced.
- Establish, monitor, measure and report achievements and results of adopted changes.
- Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s).
- Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
- Works closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
- Submits project status reports to stakeholders; reviews bugs; plans software releases; anticipates and reacts to change.
- Liaise with department supervisors/managers to understand all necessary aspects and identify areas where improvements can be gained.
- Enhance internal partnerships to gain trust and full engagement of teams when delivering change.
- Develop and maintain consistent service standards throughout Guest Services to ensure maximum productivity, quality and delivery.
- Deliver accurate work in a timely manner.
- Document procedures, including process maps working with training team to update training material.
- Create and develop new change requests.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
