Description:
As a Project Architect, you will manage support staff and oversee multiple ground-up construction and renovation projects. You will lead design, coordinate project teams, and ensure work is completed on time and on budget while meeting high standards for quality, compliance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership - Oversee concept through completion, aligning design with client vision, needs and budget. Manage consulting engineers and integrate components.
Project Management - Track timelines and budgets. Coordinate stakeholders and resolve issues through regular meetings.
Team Management - Assign and oversee tasks for support staff, provide mentorship, and conduct performance reviews.
Construction Oversight - Inspect site work and review submittals to resolve issues and ensure compliance. Manage scope, schedule and budget changes.
Client Relations - Serve as primary client contact, provide updates and address feedback to balance priorities.
Compliance - Verify adherence to codes, regulations and quality standards throughout projects. Conduct reviews and quality control measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Professional architecture degree required.
Experience: Minimum 7 years relevant experience in multifamily or hospitality sectors preferred.
Technical: Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, BlueBeam and OfficeSuite for design and documentation.
Leadership: Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and multitasking abilities to coordinate complex projects and teams.
Compliance: In-depth knowledge of construction codes and industry standards for renovations and new builds.
Certification: Active board licensure preferred.
Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.
