Reporting into the Program Integration Manager, the Project Controls Lead - LAND 400 Phase 2 leads a team of scheduling and cost control specialists, resulting in clear and concise project performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with project managers across all vehicle variants and functions to achieve business outcomes.
About the Role
The Project Controls Lead - LAND 400 Phase 2 is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and ongoing management of the Scheduling and Earned Value Management System to be employed to monitor the performance of scope executed by Rheinmetall and other entities in Germany and Australia as part of the LAND 400 Phase 2 program.

About the Role
The Project Controls Lead - LAND 400 Phase 2 is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and ongoing management of the Scheduling and Earned Value Management System to be employed to monitor the performance of scope executed by Rheinmetall and other entities in Germany and Australia as part of the LAND 400 Phase 2 program.
The duties undertaken by the Project Controls Lead - LAND 400 Phase 2 include, but not limited to:
- Creation and ongoing management of the Contract Master Schedule of the Program;
- Ensure Eared Value Management (EVM) is carried out in accordance with program conditions, Australian Standards, Defence Standards and Rheinmetall policy;
- Training of the Project Managers, Control Account Managers and other relevant team members in methodologies of Scheduling and EVM;
- Ensuring maintenance of the Contract Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB);
- Compilation and maintenance of Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS);
- Collaborate with Finance, Project Managers, Engineering and Production to ensure that goals of the business are achieved through proper setup and implementation of systems and process with respect to project controls functions;
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure time-phased budgets and program milestone payments are aligned over the life of the program; and
- Coordinate with clients, colleagues, management and customers.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, Engineering or Project Management;
- More than 7-10 years working experience in one of the relevant disciplines;
- Excellent skills in Project Management and Methodologies, Open Plan, Cobra and MS Office;
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian Standards (AS 4817-2006);
- Previous experience working in an AUSDEFCON environment (highly desirable);
- Proven inter-personnel skills to collaborate and engage with key stakeholders in a multi-functional environment;
- Ability to lead staff to ensure achievement of deliverables to customer;
- Ability to travel interstate and internationally when required; and
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
