Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Division Director / General Manager / Branch Manager / Regional VP and Regional Controller to drive a strong project controls culture across the area of operations. Drive disciplined process & structure around project planning, scheduling, cost and change order management.
  • Drive margin expansion across all project through best practice standardization & productivity.
  • Institute a clear set of leading & lagging KPIs for Project Controls across the Division. Develop a scorecard to monitor performance.
  • Actively support critical capital projects as needed (job site & remote) to deliver customer commitments & financial targets. Support critical project issues for a quick resolution.
  • Support internal and external report preparation through gathering, analyzing and summarizing large sets of cost data and information from the project.
  • Lead cross-functional SWAT Teams for proper setup at new jobs sites in the region.
  • Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Methodically implement these ideas to ensure lasting customer relationships with the Company.
  • Provide supervision and guidance for Project Controls Analyst(s), supervising daily duties, project guidance, and ad hoc project requests.
  • Lead recurring project review meetings with branch teams to ensure successful project planning, execution and completion.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of a portfolio of jobs and all local branches in assigned Area. Facilitate and lead efforts to drive site and branch productivity at various sites leveraging local teams, company.
  • Anticipates client needs before they arise and presents solutions to project management that encompass issues at hand.
  • Audit and refine site work processes to optimize data collection for reporting and performance.
  • Provide supervision and guidance for Project Controls Analyst, supervising daily duties, project guidance, and ad hoc project requests.


Qualifications:
  • 5 years relevant industry experience (construction services, manufacturing, petrochemical, refinery, power)
  • Strong managerial & communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills & proficiency in all Microsoft applications and Power BI
  • Ability to work in a cross-matrix organization and with the field teams
  • Will require 50% of travel
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent desired
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with senior management
  • Ability to effectively work within a matrix organization
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and confidence
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Travel as needed to support the need of the Areas


BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $90k annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
