Job DescriptionAbout This RoleThe Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating function-specific operating activities for Strategy, Portfolio Operations, & Quality (SPOQ) Leadership Team, while providing direct operational support to the Head of R&D Quality & Compliance (RDQC). This role will be the primary point of contact for the Head of R&D Quality & Compliance and will be responsible for supporting daily activities of the RDQC LT. Core areas of activity will be cost center management (supporting budget tracking and planning), resource management (including staff planning for program support), collaboration on contracts (management and planning), project management support, and organizing leadership team meetings. In addition, the role will provide direct daily support to the Head of RDQC to enable them to advance the goals and mission of the department.What You'll Do Management of RDQC Functional & Leadership Core Activities - including management of confidential communications, maintenance of function specific SharePoint/websites, budget tracking, planning, resource management, project management support and coordination and meeting management (agenda/minutes/action item follow up). Administrative Support to Head of RDQC - calendar and expense report management, coordination of internal and external meetings and management of all related logistics, including day of set up, etc. SPOQ Leadership Team Management - coordination of SPOQ Leadership Team meetings including agenda management, communication of Action Items, and follow-up with various stakeholders to ensure completion of action Items in a timely manner. Maintain SPOQ departmental websites, and business systems (e.g., SharePoint, Synapse), as needed. Optimization / Initiatives Driver - Coordinate SPOQ and RDQC projects which entail collaborating with relevant stakeholders, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating projects. Developing and implementing best practices and templates and improving operational excellence. Budget and Financial Management - Partner with our Finance Partner to define, monitor and adjust RDQC budgets throughout the annual cycle. Support the management of annual operating plan and long-range planning exercise, including budget and resource allocations. Propose dynamic responses to changing situations that affect budget tracking. Who You Are

- Bachelor's degree.
- Hands on department and project management experience. (use of development tools, financial planning, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to transform a collection of ideas into finished products (presentations or documents) and to manage a wide variety of activities.
- Must be technically skillful in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams). Proficiency in SharePoint preferred.
- 5+ years' experience within the biopharma industry, preferably within the function to be managed.
- Prior experience in research science and/or clinical development.
- Demonstrated excellence in project management.
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of partners across Biogen.
