Who We Are Looking For:
Our preferred candidate will have prior experience in the AEC industry, and an interest in working in a dynamic global design environment with a diverse range of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.
What Your Day Could Consist Of:
- Design, modify, and review architectural drawings for sports facilities and other structures, adhering to industry standards and technical expertise.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex technical challenges, from master planning and concept design through to construction documents.
- Address and fulfill client design and operational requirements with a focus on excellence.
- Create conceptual drawings and visual imagery for facility designs.
- Prepare materials and participate in project interviews and design presentations to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaboratively critique and refine early-stage design concepts to align with project goals.
- Develop and deliver design presentations to clients, communities, public agencies, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate technical drawings with external consultants to ensure project coherence and accuracy.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, including website content, blog entries, videos, and articles for publication.
- Proficiently use 2D and 3D visualization software, including Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Rhino 3D.
- Uphold company policies and contribute positively to office culture and team dynamics.
Requirements For Success:
- Proficiency and working knowledge of design software, including Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD, as well as expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively convey information and ideas through presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express information clearly and accurately.
- Basic hand drawing and illustration skills.
- Strong communication skills and work ethic, with demonstrated efficiency, flexibility, and a desire to grow.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment while also self-managing and working independently.
Essential Qualifications:
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) from an accredited program.
- 7+ years of professional architectural experience.
- Registered Architect with a current license.
- NCARB registration preferred.
- LEED is not required, but a plus.
Additional details:
- Travel will be required.
- Overtime may be necessary.
