Project Engineer - Hybrid Work Schedule

Title: Project Engineer (Must have PE or ability to obtain soon)
Location: Houston, TX 77040
Salary: $90,000 - 120,000 + Bonus

Our headcount has increased 12% over the last 2 years as we continue to expand our organization and provide our team with resources to grow. For this Project Engineer position, you will be leading a project staff engineer and/or CAD Designer while reporting to the Project Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform Site Development across various project types, such as Commercial and Industrial projects.
• Design grading and drainage systems for site improvements.
• Develop utility piping systems, such as sanitary, water main, fire protection, and storm drainage.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations for both gravity and pressure piping systems.
• Prepare project drawings, calculations, and specifications using applications like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Respond to RFIs, review submittals, and coordinate design revisions.
• Prepare plan reviews, permit applications, analyze zoning ordinances, and evaluate land use.
• Mentor staff engineers, present project-specific presentations to clients, and attend in public meetings related to projects.

What You Need for This Position

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Texas P.E. License or ability to obtain soon.
• 5+ years of experience in the civil engineering industry.
• Proficient with applications such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
