Opportunity available to join a team focused on projects related to electric melting and boosting technologies for the glass manufacturing industry. Looking for a hands-on Project Engineer with experience in industrial power distribution with a background in electrical project coordination and design.

Essential Duties

• Support the design and execution of low voltage power distribution systems
• Read, edit, and update electrical drawings (no transformer or switchgear design)
• Create and review single-line diagrams, load schedules, and cable plans
• Develop scopes of work, material specs, and support construction estimates
• Supervise field installations and electrical contractors
• Travel to client sites (about 25%) for short trips-typically days, not weeks
• Provide on-site project commissioning and field support

Your Background

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical systems
• Associate's degree or higher in a technical field; BS in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2010 or later)
• Familiarity with arc flash labeling, load/capacity/fault studies, and current code
• Strong communication and project coordination skills
• Experience with electric boosting, glass melting, or industrial furnace systems is a plus
